SimpliSafe is extending its advanced security technology outdoors with the rollout of Live Guard Outdoor Protection. Building on the success of the Smart Alarm Indoor Camera introduced in 2023, this new feature aims to proactively prevent break-ins before they occur. As reported by Digital Trends, Live Guard Outdoor Protection uses AI to monitor external areas and identify potential threats. When suspicious activity is detected, the system alerts SimpliSafe’s professional monitoring team, who can then intervene through two-way audio, activate a siren, or request police dispatch if necessary.
Our collaboration with SimpliSafe’s Innovation Lab was key in shaping the user experience for this expansion. We developed the UI/UX design for the Android and iOS apps, the Live Guard Agent monitoring app, and the QA web app. Our patented design is set to become the new standard for SimpliSafe’s app ecosystem, reflecting our commitment to improving home security technology.
